Emerick ~ 5 years

Emerick is loving preschool this year! I am starting to feel really anxious about sending him to Kindergarten all day next year :-( It doesn't seem possible that he is already 5!

Emerick's 5 year stats...

Height: 43 inches (50%)
Weight: 41 3/4: (52%)

He is getting taller and skinnier everyday! He is always asking me when his "Teep will be wiggly" (teeth) because he wants the "toos-sairy to come" He also asks me all the time if I can have another baby because "Louis is too big" yikes...

Louis ~ 2 years

Louis turned two on September 21st, but his checkup wasn't until late October. Here are his stats!! He talks up a storm, in sentences and that even impressed his Dr. :-) Smart munchkin!

Height: 34 1/2 inches (50%)
Weight: 29.4 lbs (80%)
Head: 52 (98%)

My Dream Boy

My sweet boy is about to begin his second and last year of preschool. Which means I will only have him home full time for 1 more year. I am so in love with him, he is my best friend and I will miss him so much when he goes to school full time. I want to bottle him up just as he is today. My little love bug who loves his Mama back with all of his heart. He tells me daily that I am his "dream girl" or his "finest ("sinest") lady".
I call him my dream boy because he told me I was his dream girl. He talks about when he is "a man" daily. He is going to have 6 baby girls, and he is going to live in this cute little blue house right down the street from us. He said "I think I will just marry you when I am a man, Mama!"

I've been trying to soak him all in, and remind myself that in the blink of an eye he will be grown, and not so in love with me ;-) These are the sweetest days of my life, and the ones I will look back on the most fondly when I am old.

He takes my breath away, he is so handsome and sweet :-)

Sweet Dreams, Uncle Ed!

My Great Uncle Ed passed Saturday morning. He was 98. We just saw him a week prior at our annual Family Reunion. My Mom and I made plans to visit Uncle Ed and Aunt Eleanor this Wednesday for lunch. The two of them were married just shy of 76 years, it amazes me every time I think of it. They were so in love, it was obvious and it radiated!

I now regret, and I am sure my Mom does too, not going to have lunch with them sooner. :-( I am so happy to have had several beautiful visits with them since we have lived on the East Coast. I am glad I have these sweet photos of Ed with Emerick when he was tiny. Of course, I wish I had one of him with Lou.

Sweet Dreams.

Louis' Favorites

Louis really loves stuffed animals. If he sees one at the store, he always asks for it, and then proceeds to give it lots of kisses and hugs. These two are his favorites, and I found him like this on the couch. What a cheeser, too!

Louis ~ 18 months

My poor neglected blog!! It is just so much easier to upload a photo to instagram and have it go straight from my phone to Facebook along with a little story or whatever. I guess I am lazy, or just busy. I love this blog, and being able to look back and reference it if need be, and I do quite often. I don't want to let it go, so I hope to be able to get back into the routine of making blogging a regular thing. I will start with Louis' 18 month stats. He was actually 19 months at his "18 month well visit" and he is now 21 months old, but here it is....

Weight: 26.4 lbs (78%)
Height: 32.5 (50%)
Head Circum: 51.6 cm (98%)

Louis has a huge vocabulary, but only speaks in "2 word sentences".  I changed his closet out to all 24 month/2T clothes, even though he comfortably still fits into most 12-18 month sizes, he's a peanut compared to his brother at this age, but he still seems soo big to me :-)

He doesn't  have much hair (& never has), and we are finally feeling close to getting him his first haircut. These photos were to document him with his curls before we say goodbye to them.
