Sooo...I have been eying this lovely patch of pretty down the road since I was pregnant, and envisioned a really cute naked baby in the basket shot. Today I stopped there while running errands to attempt to get the shot. No such luck :( I snapped this photo just to check my camera settings before I really began shooting, and unfortunately that is all I got. Not even close to the shot I was going for, for starters he is supposed to be asleep. He began screaming bloody murder right after snapping this. I am so sad!! I will have to try again another day. The lighting was so pretty today, the weather was around 90, so it was plenty warm for him to have his clothes off outside for a few minutes. I really hope I can get this shot before he is too grown up.

Today Emerick is 2 weeks old. I can't believe how fast these past 2 weeks have gone. He had a Dr. appointment today and he is 9 lbs 7 ounces, the Dr. wants him to come back Monday for a weight check. She seemed worried that he wasn't back up to his birth weight by 2 weeks.
